my husband and I have had a horrible experience with Jeff Schdmit auto group. Steve Vangorder has yet to reply to my phone call or email. They told us everything worked on the truck we bought. We never tried the CD player till just now which was 6 months after we bought it,. They wanted to know why it took us so long to play it, We explained that when we bought the truck we weren't in the market but a man went through our garage and totaled the garage and truck, Then a week later I found out I had breast cancer and had to have surgery so you can see our mind was not on the CD player. However they could care less about that reason. Then we had to redo the extended warranty contract because after we bought the truck they said GMAC did not want to put it i the loan so we had to redo it , WHen we did they changed the deductible from the first one of $250 the second one only had $100 deductible. But what they did was keep the first contract that was voided out and never used the current one and tried to tell us we have a $250 Deductible when we only have $100. That is fraud to me. My husband and I bought 4 cars/truck from White allen and believe me we will go back to them because they care about their customers. They just didn't have a truck we wanted and since we had that accident we were rushed to get a new truck, Jeff Schdmit auto is not to be trusted and either is their fiance manger. Buyer beware. I wish I had checked this page out before we bought. Don't buy from them,

If you feel the need to purchase an auto from a bankrupt company stay away from this dealership, there are many American auto dealerships that will treat you much better and thank you for your business, this is coming from a former customer, and now current customer of their competition.

Basically I was lied to and lucky enough, was able to get out of the deal. I was there to purchase a used Jeep wrangler. I was told there was a hard top for it at another location to keep it safe. I worked out the deal, however poor I was at it and my retired parents were nice enough to drive me down to pick up my Jeep on a holiday weekend. Did I mention that I sold my truck based off the trade in price so I would have cash in hand. When we arrived, I was told they were mistaken and the top was off a 98, and I was buying an 05. And, it had the back window busted out and was missing seals and was the wrong color. Ok, so since they were bragging that the hard top was worth 1,500 dollars alone, I asked them to take the 1,500 off the price and we still had a deal. They told me they would take off 100 and fill the tank with gas. I got my deposit back and left. It was a lot of trouble and they were not willing to work with me even though they lied. I was very, very dissapointed with the sales manager at the Nissan used cars. He was rather a fat prick. Thanks for reading.

Salesman said handsfree bluetooth came with car and all that was need was capable phone. Never stated that additional hardware had to be purchased. Even admitted mistake in communication. Kept car for over 2 weeks just to put a remote starter on. Manager Frank very poor communication and still hasn't returned any of my calls. Reported to BBB. Will spread to everyone I know about poor customer service and salesmanship. Wish I would have read reviews before I gave this place my business.

I must say my experience was great. Everyone went out of their as far as customer service. I had been in several times and changed my mind over and over but they let me take cars for a day before I made up my mind. And when I did everything went smoothe. I would buy there again.

First off let me start by explaining the excellent rating in obtaining financing. They never did obtain financing for the contract I signed which included an extended warranty, they could only obtain financing for the car itself, so thank god that was my out of this nightmare. Secondly the salesperson, he was nice enough and I honestly think he is just trying to survive today's economy and thankful he has a job. Now for the rest, I bought a used 05 grand cherokee within the first week the check engine light came on, they convinced me this time that is was the gas cap. One week later the light was on again, so i took it to autozone and had the code read myself, it was not the gas cap but something more serious, which they did offer to fix, but in the end did not. I had several meeting with the used car manager in which each meeting miraculously someone that needed to be there was off that day, when i finally got fed up with this I went to the General Manager, Steve VanGorder, (you know him, that annoying little creep that does the commercials), I tried being nice and explaining the situation and telling him at that point that I wanted out he said i was bound by contract, I told him at that point that there was not a contract that they had obtained financing for and he told me "we will have them finance it anyway and we'll send them a check for the difference" and then proceeded to hang up on me. The saga continues this evening as I have consulted an attorney that said I was within my rights to return the car and cancel the contract, I will be doing so right after work this evening, they know I'm coming, so we'll see how this ends.

I have NEVER seen such poor customer service by a manager in my life. Basically telling me I was out of line pointing out what was wrong with the car I was interested in and putting me on the major defensive. They went so far as to come up with a payment plan which boiled down to adding almost $9,000 to the price. They must get a kickback from who the finance with. They refused to tell me what the percentage rate would be on the financing so when I got home I figured it out to be around 17%. (by the way, my credit rating is about 800.) I teach customer service and will be using this as an example for all of my students on what NOT to do. Then there are the people I work with and friends I'll be talking to. So far, I have talked to five people about this person who represents Jeff Schmidt. I will not go to any of their dealerships Ever! I must have dear wrong whe the commercial says Jeff Deals. Maybe the D should be removed and ST be put in it's place!

My Husband and I walked out of the dealership lastnight after being talked to horribly by the finance mangager. We could have bought two cars there if we wanted, and he Lost Big time sales from US with his disrespectful attitude.
The salesperson was nice, but the finance manager blew it in minutes. We won't be back. They are pretty tricky folks in what they were trying to pull.
Not a trustworthy place to do business with. Beware
