Has to be the worst people ever. my 18 year old daughter buying her first car was talked into protection package, nitro fill on the tires(will never leak and that will be safe for a young girl on her own at night), oil changes, ect. now she has to pay for these on her loan, and has the worst attitude towards dealerships. thanks shaver for taking advantage of my used to be trusting daughter, if anyone has a class action lawsuit and can help us, please email me at krusen5@charter.net good luck to all that fell victim to this ass.

I guess I will join you guys.I got ripped off on all my warranties too.
I been having an on going problem with my alarm and they were the only ones with the sensor to fix it.I went to the Norco dealership and all my free oil chnages -seat protection plan--alarm packages are gone-but yet I still have to pay for them.
Does anyone have any info on how I can get back at this dealership?

Ripped off for $5000 in extra warranties then they suddenly go out of business and I am handed over to Moss motors who I avoided buying from so they could tell me all my $5000 worth of warranties were void!!! This is really strange that there is a Shaver dealership in Thousand Oaks who say they have nothing to do with Shaver in San Bernardino coincidence? I don't think so, anyways I'm hiring a lawyer to find out!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I bought a brand new 2008 kia sorrento back in sept. 2008. We traded in our old vehicle and the remaining balance was to be payed off by kia. Instead what happened was the took my trade in, sold it took the money, and did not pay off the loan. I am now responsible for two cars, one of which i dont even have in my possesion. My husband and are are a young couple with two young children, we worked very hard and are very financially responsible, we worked very hard to get a good fico score at our age. We have no words for what has been done to us.when we went to kia to finnally set this straight in person,we found out they were out of buisness. Does anyone have any info on a lawsuit?
They ripped me off for $3000+
They never payed for the GAP insurance (but they charged me). Can't get a refund for a cancelled extended warrenty. Never installed extras I paid for (gave me an appointment date after the dealer closed).

MALIPULATED MY CONTRACT LIED TO THE BANK SOLD ME A CAR THAT WASNT THE ASKING PRICE./ & REFUNDED ON MY WARRANTY I FOUND OUT OUT 8MONTHS AFTER I BROUGHT MY NEW CAR. WHEN I CALLED AND COMPLAINED THE GRANTED MY WARRANTY BACK.

sent me off in a kia sodona, without a breaklight and seatbelt does not work properly and the light still comes on because when they had it all day, after driving it home at night and someone else letting me know i had no breaklight....this should not have left the lot period.

I bought a 2008 Sorento a couple of weeks ago - made an appointment with the service department to get the alarm and trailer hitch installed, interior/exterior protection, etc. I showed up for the appointment only to find out that the dealership was closed. I see others are in the same boat - let's get together on this, get Kia Motors America involved - I'm sure we could get their attention when they realize that an agent of theirs is committing fraud. 951) 318-1666

WOW!!! THIS DEALERSHIP IS HORRIBLE!!! First of all i bought a 2007 dodge caliber from them on oct 4, 2008. i put a 500 down payment on the car three weeks later i recieved a call saying i needed to do a rewrite on the contract, we went out there that night, we were told the car was financed with drive financial but they would need another 2,000 down so the next day i brought a cashier check, i thought everything was good and going smooth until nov. 16, 2008 i had some repo guys at my house. i thought WTF i dont even have a payment until the 30th of dec so how is it repod, i was told they could not get it financed and the car needed to be returned. the next day i go back to shaver to get my deposit which im entilted to and the chick shammy had the nerve to tell me i was not getting it because they had to send it through repo because i did not bring it in myself. i told her the reason i did not bring it in is because she never called me, so i told her i will pull every phone bill i need to and she needs to pull hers since she told me it is documented i came back 1 hour later and showed her my phone bill proving she never called me she got scared and told me she was going to write me a check minus the 300 repo fees??? but that was another lie, she goes back in the building and locks the door, when i was able to get in by accident i started going off she then lied to me again saying the repo fees were 1375 and the rest went to lic and fees and i actually owed her money! instead of me knocking her damn brains out of her ears i just left and now im taking it to court with a civil lawyer!!! if any of u have this prob call me i have some numbers and info that will really help, i ran into someone who is a great plus for all of us my number is 909-560-6073 leave me a message and i will call u back!

I purchased a car there and they were really pushy. We got to numbers where I was happy and 12 days later they called me to do a re write. I asked if mt payment was going to change or if I had to put more money down and they assured me no. I live 80 miles away but I drove down there in my other car bc it got better gas milege and sure enough they changed the deal and I told them they can have the car back, they said ok and wished me a good day untill we went to the parkinglot and they realized the car I bought from them was not there. Then they asked me when my wife was going to bring it. I laughed and said she is not going to. Then they said well we will send the salesman back with you to get it so I agreed. Then I asked for the gas voucher they promissed and they said well since you didnt sign with us we are not giving you one. Then I told them that the salesman can find a different way to my house and got in my car and left. Two days went by and the car was still sitting infront of my house and I called to inquire about it and they said well you will get your down payment back after they get the car and they were going to charge me a pickup fee. I told them it was bs and I ended up taking the car back to them and wasting more of my time and gas. I called the next day and the down payment was supposed to be returned back to my credit card. It has been 5 days and no refund and my credit card company knows nothing about a refund so I call the dealership today and talk to someone in the business office. She connects me to this guy in finance and he tells me he will refund my money just to come in. I told him Im not driving down there again to get my money back and he said "what, you dont want your 500 dollars back?" what a jokester he was. I told him it was BS that I am having this problem and I wanted it refunded now and he hung up on me. I called back and spoke with the same lady in the business office and I told her my whole story and she apologized and said he was going to do it for me so she transfered me back to him and I told him that it wasnt very professional for him to hang up on me and he stated "well I dont have to listen to you cursing at me." I advised him I wasnt calling him names just that the deal was bs and it has been nothing but an inconvience. I told him it was bs that they tried to raise my payment $75 and had to put $500 more down and he told me "well maybe its because you have bad credit" I laughed and told him to look at my credit and see how bad it is (I have perfect credit) Funny enough I bought a more expensive Jeep from another dealership and I got super low interest than this dealership was going to give me. Fair warning I sold cars before and the higher the interest rate the more money the dealership makes. Im still waiting for my down payment but I will be calling the owner Mr Shaver, Daimler Chrystler to complain about this so called 5 Star dealership, as well as the better business bureo and the federal trade commission. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!

They will try to rip you off with extra charges for "Shaver protection plan." They will bribe you to give them high marks on the chrysler surveys. if you don't come in to fill it out they will call you and try to trick you into giving them your password so they can fill it out themselves. i am sure they want you to come down and bring it in person so they can toss it out and rewrite a new one in their favor. They called me 14 times! Before they tried to get my survey password and I told them off. They are a fraud and the place inside looks like a dump.
